If you haven’t been reading this series of blogs then catch up at http://spankyrant.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/the-friendsreunited-conspiracy-part-1.html and the 9 following parts.
And there was me
thinking it had all gone quiet. I haven’t blogged for well over a month. There
are a few reasons for that.
Apart from not
being bothered and it being busy with Christmas and New Year – a few other
things have been going on.
The main one is
that these people are not going away. In fact things seem to be getting worse. However, myself and many others find the whole mooted
conspiracy increasingly fascinating - particularly the way our pursuers simply
disbelieve the veracity of anything that looks like proof.
The good news is
that our pursuers started commenting on my last blog. The comments were
brilliant as they showed the madness that I have had to deal with. Culminating
in the classic request for me to take a polygraph test. Wibble wobble wibble
wobble.
Then I was
contacted by someone who had been contacted by our pursuers. After a couple of
weeks of communication with them, this member of our (FriendsReunited’s)
“technical team” (as they now refer to him) – he never had any such involvement
- passed everything onto me. And boy does it make good reading. However, it
also includes some shocking new sections and disclosures of their tactics. More
of that another time.
Also, other
people have come forward concerning odd activity which may be attributable to
covert investigations. Again more later.
Plus – we found
their website. They kept telling us about the site they planned to use to
publicise their claims (and make a stupefyingly huge offer of a reward)
through: however, the named URL they referred to had two errors in it, so we
weren’t able to find it. But now we
have. Brilliant – and it is brilliant.
And lastly, The
Kernel wrote an article based on my blogs. As a result our pursuers then sent
their dossier to The Kernel to try to get their side of the story out there.
And now, if printed, people can make their own minds up. Presumably, if portions of their dossier are
quoted, or reported on, then our pursuers will have to be named (respectable
journalism doesn’t tend to be used as a conduit for the making of unfounded
allegations by anonymous parties – if it were, defamation lawyers might be even
busier than they are). In any event, I look forward to seeing The Kernel’s, and
– who knows – potentially other publications’, views on the mooted conspiracy.
